I hope I'm not boring you yet with those gym shots. Honestly it's so much fun and so much more effect on both my mind and body - or it feels like that. 😌 Especially the jumping always feels super challenging because I'm so afraid I'll get hurt (I'm very clumsy and had both knees injured multiple times 😂) but then the trainer says "you've got so much energy, next time we'll try the higher box" 👽

Just compared my InBody results from September – I've gained 2.3 kg of muscle! Sure, my overall weight went up too, but I feel so much stronger and more confident. It’s amazing to see that all the effort is really paying off. The numbers aren’t everything, but the feeling of progress is priceless! And yes my expression is very focused on the balance exercises 🤣😌

Monday started off with a good workout with a trainer. I was working out alone for half a year and I feel I need a push and some guidance to see more progress, so I decided to invest into this. The girl is an unbelievable inspiration plus she takes cool videos for her clients so they can see their progress. So I'm going to spam you with that for some time. 😄💪
Anyway other life updates include surviving a work teambuilding weekend and probably not passing my exam today. It was a math paper and I got lost while integrating 😅 so hopefully I'll have more luck and be more ready next time (in two weeks).

I'm always doubting myself, trying to do the best job possible and never feeling like I did good enough. But today I feel so happy because after 8 months working as a frontend developer, I got a raise, contract extension and some positive feedback 🤩 being a developer can be very frustrating when you can't solve the problems but I'm glad trying hard gets me somewhere as well. 😄💪

I want to tell you about something a bit different and maybe not as sexy for everyone, but very important for me.

Today marks 35 years since the Velvet Revolution, when Czechoslovakia peacefully ended the communist regime and gained freedom.

As a student, liberal, and I guess an OF "model", I value the opportunities we have to create, grow, and make a difference. The quote "Who, if not us? When, if not now?" really speaks to me – it’s a reminder that we all have a part to play in shaping the future. And even if my contribution isn't on a political basis, I wish to believe that my actions both online and offline support the ideals that I stand for.

Also, International Students' Day has its roots here in the Czech Republic, remembering students who stood up against the Nazi occupation in 1939. Their courage still reminds to value freedom, justice, and dignity. Let's hope that with all the crazy things that are happening in politics everywhere around the world, with all the things people seem to fight over, we won't ever forget the core values. ❤️

Yesterday I tried aerial hoops with my high school friend! It's something I always wanted to try but I was never too confident about it. I may have strong arms but I still struggle to lift my whole body on them. But yesterday I made it. I climbed the hoop like a koala bear, going with the legs first and then I found out after a few attempts what to do with my arms and core. And here I was, up there, and we were trying out all sorts of poses. Some of them were easy, some of them were crazy. I had so much fun and felt like I accomplished something I never thought I'd be able to. Now I'm seriously considering finally signing up for a class of aerial hoops or something similar. 💪🤩

What's your favorite type of chocolate? I love the dark one with orange or raspberry flavor 🍊🍫 but it's very hard to resist and I always have to try not to eat too much but rather just one piece.

This lake is called America and is at the western border of the Czech Republic. I'm staying here tonight and loving it here. It's a perfect place to relax for a while and make some future traveling plans. We're really thinking about going back to Madeira Island, but there's also so many places we haven't been to! Life may be too short to visit them all but as long as I'm traveling with my people, I'm happy. No need to have anything expensive or classy, just a song in my head, aperol in my hand, butterflies in stomach and a road to walk and I'm good. ❤️😊
