I’m a panellist at the University of Westminster on Friday for a book launch. The book is about international political prisoners. My understanding of state oppression in the UK is fairly good but the book focuses on India & the uprising of rebel groups so I’m getting my research in now! I’m noticing a lot of tactical parallels used in state oppression which I’ve found incredibly interesting. It has cemented my belief that community is everything, both local and international.
