Something not right
I made it all the way here
I’m a mason in a broken world
Perplexed
It catches inside me
Gasping storms
This body was not of my design
And I see her looming in the peripheries
Is she warning me?
This vision I’ve seen a million times
Tie into knots into my muscle, I weep
Terribly mortal
Not so big to the things under microscopes
Just another mountain to scale
Not so big to him when he walks away
And I have no hammer, no tool, no ruler
To measure the chemicals in my brain
The flames grow higher
The stone solidifies
I am not your mother
But I’ll tell you what to do
And you’ll do it well
You’ll make it right
Terrible mortal
