Who TF glues a heavy mirror onto cardboard???
A few years ago, we had some major reconstruction at our club. At one point, we decided to hang a huge—really huge—framed mirror on the wall. The mirror was slightly tilted toward the floor. Underneath it, there is a big sofa where the girls sit every night...
When our technician guys were installing the mirror, they somehow used a very strong glue to stick that massive thing onto the panel on the wall. I was a bit anxious about it and said something like, “Guys, are you really sure it won’t fall down?”
Their reply:
“Kathy, please. We know you’re the boss. But please, watch your girls and leave this job to real men. You know how to work with the girls, and we know how to mount mirrors, so please... Don’t worry. These adhesive glues are extremely strong. It’s fine—it can never fall down.”
OK. Fast forward six years later.
Just look at the pictures. No further comment needed.
LUCKILY, it happened when no one was sitting there ...
But I wish you could’ve seen their faces when I arrived at the club and saw the whole disaster. I didn’t have to say anything more than:
“Oh, the glue didn’t handle the pressure. That’s strange.”
